Ginetta and GulfSport have worked closely to develop the G50 HC. It comes fully race prepared at the factory, allowing racers to compete without having to add expensive and time-consuming modifications. Importantly, the G50 has extremely low running costs when compared to other purpose built racing cars and converted road cars.
“The Ginetta G50 has already proved itself at in Europe and Asia this summer but world-wide demand told us that we needed to design a car with specific adaptations for hot climate countries,” said Lawrence Tomlinson, Ginetta Chairman. “I’m delighted that the partnership with GulfSport has produced the G50 HC and I’m sure we’ll see it dominating Championships in this part of the world in no time at all in the capable hands of Barry Hope and his team.”

The inspiration is based upon traditional racing car methods but packaged in a new way. The engineering is simple, the weight distribution has been carefully calculated and everybody who has driven one has emerged from the cockpit smiling! I get a feeling I'll be laughing the whole way round if and when I get behind the wheel.
The G50 and its one-make GT Championship are aimed at bridging the gap between single-make sports car racing such as the current Ginetta G20 Championship and GT cars like the GT4 Championship, GT3 and beyond. A one stop shop you might say...

Some of the really beautiful touches on the Ginetta are the really subtle ones - The stays holding the rear wing for example are contoured!
This particular car, the HC version of the Ginetta G50 was developed in conjunction with Dubai based GulfSport Racing, to cope with the extreme heat of the Middle East, Asia and other tropical and desert climates.
