What you are looking at is a 1972 Alfa Romeo GTV with a 2.0L fuel injected four-cylinder, a manual gearbox and a rather well kept and clean interior. Prior to my purchase of Ali MacGraw, the unofficial ColdTrackDays project car, and, to be honest, my daily driver, I snapped up this little gem for the paltry sum of $1500. One of my favorite cars of all time, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to own a classic Italian sports car, no matter the condition, right? Wrong. Things aren't always as they seem and upon further inspection of my newly acquired project, the task of brining her back to life seemed all to daunting. Follow the link for a closer look... Like I mentioned above, the interior of this GTV is in nearly perfect condition. The seats appear to have been refitted, the headliner and dash are without damage and the carpet, albeit a bit dirty, is in pretty good shape. The problem comes as soon as we popped the hood. The motor appears to be seized and their is an abundance of rust in far too many places.
Here is an example of just some of the rust. Fenders, fender wells, quarter panels, around the headlights, in the trunk, it's everywhere :(
And while we haven't given up hope entirely (I think my uncle is going to have a go at it) we have decided that at least for the time being, we ought to focus on improving the website rather than spending countless hours in the garage, sanding, scraping, filling, patching and welding, in what might be a hopeless attempt to resurrect a car best left as is...

Well, it's beautiful. I hope someone brings it back to life.
