If you’re like us, you’ll stay up until the wee hours of the morning, reminders set on your Comcast cable, hoping to catch a week old replay of some overlooked and thoroughly neglected racing series. Well, my televised motorsport junkies, I have a bit of good news for you. Many of us, myself included, were shocked when our late night WRC addiction suddenly come to an end last year. No coverage of the 2008 WRC season! WTF? But now, according to the good people at Jalopnik (blame them if this is nothing but rumor), the 2009 FIA World Rally Championship is set to air on Discovery’s HD Theater, with the first episode scheduled for October 4th.
