LIVING LEGEND // SIR STIRLING MOSS CELEBRATES HIS 80TH

This month, racing legend, no, make that god, Sir Stirling Moss will celebrate his 80th birthday. One of the last living drivers from an era in motorsport where money was of little importance and bravery was not only abundant but an absolute necessity. Among his achievements in what some might consider a rather short career (only 10 years in professional motorsport) Moss collected a total of 197 victories from 497 starts, of which 16 were Grand Prix wins.

Coincidentally, Sir Stirling Moss’ birthday falls on the Goodwood Revival weekend and will thus be celebrated accordingly, with the sights and sounds of his youth surrounding him for three whole days. One of, if not the greatest living race driver, the staff at ColdTrackDays would like to wish Sir Stirling a Happy Birthday!
