The first C-Type Jaguar to be imported stateside (model XKC-007), this particular import was send straight to the race track where Hill drove it to three victories at Elkhart Lake, Torrey Pines and Watkins Glen.

After being retired from racing duty, Hill’s XKC-007 found itself in the hands of numerous collectors and enthusiasts before undergoing a full restoration in 1986. Additionally, during a celebration for Jaguar's 50th anniversary in 2002, Phil Hill and his C-Type Jaguar were reunited long enough for Hill to sign his iconic race car.

While the value of Hill’s former race car remains to be seen, one would expect a piece of motorsport history such as this to fetch a great deal of money.
