BRAVE SOULS // MNR VORTX @ DOUNE HILLCLIMB

When one thinks of bravery; battlefields, prize fighters, and race cars typically come to mind. With the latter being of interest to us here at ColdTrackDays, when we came across this video from the Doune Hillclimb in Scotland, we thought it was a good representation of what automotive bravery looks like. Driving a MNR Vortx, what amounts to a Kawasaki ZZR 1400cc motor mounted to a Caterham chassis, watch as this brave soul runs the hill in a record breaking 47.30 seconds!

  1. Other than the uphill, right-hander (at @ :58) it looks like a pretty straightforward course. At that point the indicated speed is only 34.8 mph anyway.
