Last night on the BBC, Top Gear's tame racing driver,The Stig, took the Ferrari FXX for a few hot laps around the Top Gear test track. The mysterious helmet clad driver then proceeded to destroy the previous fast lap record set by the Gumpert Apollo, besting the German automobile by some seven seconds. Shortly thereafter The Stig entered the Top Gear studio and proceeded to remove his helmet, revealing his true identity for the first time!

Schumi was a really good sport in going along with that. I think that's the most relaxed I've ever seen him. We all know he's not the actual Stig afterall... :)

I agree. Schumacher was a great sport. Nice bit of promo for Ferrari as well...
ReplyDeleteThing is though, the FXX should NOT be on the Top gear lap board, because it's not road-legal and won't go over a speedbump. If you change those rules then the record holder is the Harrier jumpjet at around 30s, and then the Renault 2005 F1 car at 59s.
