GATHERINGS // VW CLASSICS IN SO-CAL

Last week was the VW Classics week and they had events going on throughout Southern California. I got a chance to attend the car show last Sunday and it was fantastic. Only one word came to mind and it was hardpark. People came out with their cars and grills just to hang out while waiting for their cars to be judged. A line of VW busses ranges from 1949 - 1967

This rusted old VW bus had great character, not to mention a tuned and turbo charged motor (below)

Now this is a fine looking engine. Packed with carbs and a turbo.

Car enthusiasts just having a great time.
