A LOOK BACK // 1970 FORMULA ONE SEASON REVIEW



A season that was dominated by Jochen Rindt and his Ford powered Lola, 1970 saw a number of changes to Formula One, to include the introduction of slick tires by Goodyear, as well as continued aerodynamic improvements. 1970 was also the only season to see the Driver's Championship awarded posthumously, as Rindt was killed during practice for the Italian Grand Prix.
