LOCAL MOTORING CHAMPIONSHIP // INTERLAGOS CIRCUIT, BRAZIL

Last weekend, on a rather hot and sunny day, the Local Motoring Championship took to the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo, for the third round of their season... [read more]

We saw a host of classic cars battle it out in the Classic Cup, to include this race prepped Porsche 914.

A number of fast prototypes were on track, as the Super Spyder class took advantage of an abundance of sunshine and track availability.

A few old Omega Stock Cars that once participated in the National Stock Car Championship, were on track all weekend, laying down some impressive lap times.

A handful of new faces were on track in the Formula São Paulo class.

Also featured last weekend was the Makers and Drivers Championship, and the beasts of the Força Livre (tourism and prototype cars with no power limitation!)

It was great fun seeing the younger guys get their start in motorsport, all of whom eager to drive an F1 car someday, as well as the old guys of the Classic Cup, racing for pleasure and yet still competitive, bringing us great battles all weekend on the hot track.

It was certainly an action packed weekend, with lots of racing, battles, burned tires and champagne sprayed in the air.

Coming soon at Interlagos:
Porsche GT3 Cup - April 18th (the name says it all)
GT3 Brazil - April 26th (Lamborghini, Ford GT, Ferrari, Viper... all your dreams at high speed).

So stay tuned! See you next time!
