When a slim turnout at last weekends SCCA event forced CTD photographer, Kyle Crawford, to head to the drag strip, we were a bit concerned. Known for our interest in 'proper' motorsports, a feature on drag racing seemed a bit unlikely... But, here we are.
It is hard to turn down a great set of photos, even if they document the most archaic form of motorsport. Kyle certainly has an eye, and considering we are a collective of motorsport media enthusiasts, we could not help but post a few shots.

I believe drag racing is the last developing motor sport. As John Force has said, if you can turn, you ain't going fast enough. More power than a dozen F1 cars and at 4.42 sec. ET at 335 mph. Top fuel cars are the quickest accelerating wheel driven vehicles on the planet.
