Following Matthew Mead's coverage of the Bathurst 12 Hour, we thought we’d feature a bit of video from the Bathurst 1000. Also held at the Mount Panorama Circuit, the Bathurst 1000 is like nothing seen stateside. V8 sedans on steroids, helicopter film crews, loads of in-car footage and 1000km of door to door ‘V8 Supercar’ racing, on a circuit that sees 200+mph stretches and a downhill section that puts even Laguna Seca’s corkscrew to shame.
