BRAZILIAN NEXTEL CUP // INTERLAGOS SEASON OPENER

The 2009 Brazilian Stock Car Nextel Cup began this past weekend at the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo.

Paulo Salustiano seemed to manage the new car better than his opponents and took the pole on a wet track, due to rain that fell just before the qualifying session.

With a number of rule changes and rain forecasted for the weekend, Sunday looked to be an exciting race. As the cars took to the track, I was able to snap a few shots before the weather turned for the worse.
