STAGE NINE HIGHLIGHTS // 2009 DAKAR RALLy

With yet another stage win, VW Motorsports Carlos Sainz will remain atop the leader board heading into the tenth day of rally competition. Teammate Mark Miller finished second in the stage and subsequently moved himself to second overall. Robbie Gordon, the only other American (besides Miller) still in the hunt for a Dakar victory, managed a third place finish after he was slowed due to repairs.
