COUNT 'EM OUT // NO PORSCHE IN ALMS FOR '09

Following in the footsteps of their countrymen, Porsche intends to cut its factory supported team from next years ALMS competition. Much like Audi’s decision to leave the ALMS’ LMP1 class, Porsche will continue to support the privately funded teams, however they will not be entering a factory backed LMP2 vehicle for the 2009 season. Citing limited funds and a lack of ALMS coverage, Porsche’s decision is a sad but necesssary one. Your thoughts? // 12.16.2008
