SHELBY TO AUCTION 'GREEN HORNET' LOOK ALIKE

Carroll Shelby will be auctioning off a 1968 EXP500 CSS Mustang (a reproduction of the 'Green Hornet' car that Shelby used as a test platform in the ‘60’s) from his personal collection in the coming weeks. Built by Restoration Hardware, the Mustang features all the same bits and pieces as the original 'Green Hornet,' minus the EFI and independent rear suspension. This particular EXP500 has been in Shelby’s personal collection since 2003 and is about as close as you can come to owning a true Shelby 'Green Hornet.'
