In celebration of their recent Formula One Constructor’s World Championship, Ferrari has released this; the Scuderia Spider 16M. The 16 represents the number of manufacture titles the Italian automaker has chalked up thus far, and what better a way to celebrate, then with a drop top version of their most potent road goer. Now we are a bit unsure of Ferrari’s intent, considering the Scuderia F430 coupe is essentially a streetable version of their Challenge car, but having lost its top, the 16M is well, not properly equipped for racing. But come on, with only 499 scheduled for production, a mid-mounted 510bhp 4.3-liter V8, 0-60 times in the sub-four second range (ed note- 3.7 seconds to be precise), if we had the money, there’d be no question. Hell, it even comes with a removable ‘Ferrari iPod Touch.’ Click through for a complete photo gallery of the Scuderia Spider 16M, courtesy of Autoblog // 11.10.2008
