SUPERCAR'S A SUPERCAR RIGHT? // ARASH AF10

The above automobile is the handiwork of former Farbound owner, Arash Farbound. After selling the aforementioned company, Mr.Farbound founded Arash Motor Company, and has since released this. They call it the AF10, and with a full carbon fiber body, 2,600lb curb weight and Corvette Z06 sourced 7.0-liter V8, it is making waves in the motorsport community. It’s power plant makes up to 530bhp courtesy of a new intake and exhaust system, putting power to the rear wheels via a Graziano gearbox. Additional bits include AP Racing brakes and there is talk of a sequential gearbox and potentially a supercharged V8 courtesy of the recently released Corvette ZR1. With a price tag of £170,000, the Arash AF10 seems a better deal than its £220,000 competitor, the Lamborghini Murcielago. But really, a supercar's a supercar right? Sure to please, hard on the pocket book, not so many cup holders, all that. You agree? Comment here // 10.13.2008
