F1 PREVIEW // 2008 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX

The Japanese Grand Prix will see practice begin this Friday, and we thought it appropriate to run this video preview we came across. Featuring a look back at the 2007 GP, a race that saw more than a few crashes and less than ideal conditions, as well as featuring some fitting Japanese pop music (you might wanna turn it down a little...), this video is a decent intro for the coming race weekend.

With Lewis Hamilton commanding a strong lead in the drivers championship (aided by a certain Ferrari team mishap), Hamilton will have a strong chance at collecting his second win at Fuji. Running a distant second, Felipe Massa has his work cut out for him, as he currently sits seven points back from Hamilton. The BMW-Sauber team has had a strong presence in the last few races and are inching ever closer to claiming that second spot in the driver championship, so look for them to push hard at Fuji.
