NO COMPETITION // VETTE TO CHANGE CLASSES?

Corvette Racing has decided to have a go at the American Le Mans GT2 series for next year. Apparently tired of what little competition is available, the team says they will compete in a select number of GT1 races during the 2009 season to get ready for next year’s Le Mans, then return to GT2 for the remainder of the season, competing with Aston Martin, Porsche, Ferrari and Ford for the GT2 championship. Additionally, the Corvette Racing program says they will have a 5.5 Liter V8 in compliance with new regulation changes scheduled to take effect in 2010, up and running by the start of the 2009 season // 09.12.2008
