HYBRID LMP1'S // CORSA MOTORSPORTS LATEST

Corsa, currently known for race prepped Ferrari’s, has teamed up with UK based Zytek, in an attempt to build and run a hybrid LMP1 race car in the ALMS. Scheduled for its race unveiling on October 4th at the Petit Le Mans, as well as October 18th at Laguna Seca, the 4.5 Liter V8 powered prototype should turn a few heads. The hybrid V8 is good for 625bhp and will utilize the KERS (kinetic energy recovery system), in conjunction with a storage battery to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.
