TESTING // NEW FORMULA NIPPON CHASSIS

California based Swift Engineering, has released their first 2009 Formula Nippon chassis’, and were seen testing at Fuji Speedway. Replacing a dated Lola chassis, the new F-Nippon managed a lap of the Fuji track in 1 minute 23 seconds, less than 5 seconds off the pace of Lewis Hamilton, and his record of 1:18.7 lap time. With a 6’ 4’’ wide front wing and sculpted side pods, the new Nippon chassis produces ample downforce, keeping it level through the turns.
