ROLL CAGE IMPORTANCE // GIGI GALLI CRASH

We cannot stress enough the importance of a roll cage in a race vehicle. Having seen first hand the outcome of a crash, driver having chosen carbon fiber bits over added safety, we are steadfast believers in tubular safety equipment. So, if you are still not a believer, take a look at WRC driver Gigi Galli as he careens off the (gravel) road, in a crash last weekend at the Rally Germany. Galli was lucky however, as he managed to walk away with only a broken femur, an injury that will keep him out for the remainder of the WRC season.
