The Gooodwood Revival, a 90 minute endurance race, with a field of entrants to include a Jaguar C-Type, Aston Martin DB3S and Ferrari 750 Monza, is set to take place the weekend of September 19th-21st. Permission has been granted, allowing this years Revival to run into the dusk hours, a first for the event. In addition to a grid of cars sure to make any collector jealous, the Goodwood Revival will see Sir Stirling Moss, Le Mans legend Derek Bell and former F1 racer Jochen Mass, all take to the track again. Event organizer and all around car aficionado Lord March had this to say: 'I am really excited by the prospect of staging this race again, which will bring the concept of the Nine Hour race back to life in a most dramatic fashion. Ever since 2002, it has been an ambition of mine to see racing of this sort return to Goodwood. The cars will look magnificent, racing against the backdrop of an autumnal West Sussex sunset, maybe with the odd star twinkling above.' // 08.10.2008
