FIAT 500 // ACROSS AMERICA

Italian coupe fan, Jim Magill, was tired of the rumors, impatient and unwilling to wait it out, hoping that the small Italian would be shipped to our shores. He decided to take matters into his own hands. Jim imported the new Fiat 500 via North Ireland, direct to New York city. He then proceeded to tour the 'Fix It Again' across our beloved country, showing to all, that both small and economical, don't have to mean boring. The new Fiat 500 is pushed along by a 1.2 Liter, 68bhp, eight valve four cylinder. Small? Yes. Economical? Certainly. Boring? We would disagree. For those looking for a little more from their new Fiat, there is always the Abarth Assetto Corse. While the rest of us wait (patiently) for Fiat to decide the 500's stateside fate, the staff at ColdTrackDays will be reporting on a few other fuel efficient, fun to drive cars in the coming weeks. Stay tuned // 08.04.2008
