Volvo C30R // Concept to Reality?

Seeing as how a few of the staff members (me included) drive Volvo's, we felt it appropriate to report on the Swede's latest creation. With a foundation derived from the Ford Focus RS, the C30R concept features a turbo fed five cylinder, an engine package worth 350bhp at all four corners. Utilizing Volvo's AWD system, the C30R would have a bit of an advantage over its Focus RS counterpart, a car that should have been manufactured with all wheel drive. With increasing fuel costs, a demand for fuel efficency and affordable transportation, it is unlikely the C30R will see the light of day. We like the look none the less, and hope to see some of the design features on forthcoming C30's // 07.19.2008
