Top Gear USA // Hosts Revealed

It is official. Top Gear is to be produced stateside, with different hosts, and a dream like attempt at emulating what the three Brits have managed on their shores. We do not mean to seem pessimistic, though they are fighting an uphill battle. Adam Corolla, Tanner Foust and Eric Strommer will take the reigns as Top Gear launches here in the states. Corolla, famous for his co-starring role on "the Man Show" and his morning talk radio program, leads the crew. With Tanner Foust, Speed channels "Supercars Exposed" host and Formula-D drifter, and Eric Strommer, former day time soap opera star turned DIY television host, as his co-hosts. Appearing to be a co-production between NBC and the BBC, the American version has a very large set of shoes to fill. We will be keeping you informed as more information is released // 06.17.2008
