Mixing things up should have been this years Canadian Grand Prix theme. A new leader atop the driver championship board, a shake up in the constructors championship and an accident leaving both Raikkonen and Hamiltion out of the race. As they left the pits, Hamilton managed to miss step and rear end his Ferrari rival, Raikkonen. The pitlane accident took them both out of the race, and set the stage for BMW to have its day. Landing a one two punch, with Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica taking the top two podium spots, the BMW Sauber team saw its first win in the 2008 season. A first for Kubica, the Canadian Grand Prix victory took him to the top of the leader board and marked his first victory in Formula One. Only ten days until the French Grand Prix, and with things as uncertain as they could possibly be, the 2008 Formula One drivers championship is up for the taking // 06.11.2008
