Having read countless reviews of the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, a car that in my opinion is exactly what the doctor ordered, I was glad to see the gents' at 0-60 running a proper test of the new Blue Oval...
After picking up an original SHO for the paltry sum of $800, the 0-60 staff proceeded to throw a shopping cart full of parts at the thing, in hopes of boosting performance and maybe, just maybe, helping it to run on par with its late-model brethren. Needless to say, the spring, brake, wheel/tire and NOS upgrades certainly did boost the SHOs performance, but it was difficult, er, make that impossible, to compete with the 350+bhp and AWD of the new SHO.
Additional editorial features include a look at the all-new Porsche Panamera Turbo...
as well as the cult like Norwegian tuning scene; extreme winters coupled with excessive horsepower and an all to brief summer to showcase what nine months of hard work, hardcore tuning and huge turbos can produce.
As always, the latest issue of 0-60 is a great read, cover to cover. Be sure and pick up your copy the next time you visit a newsstand!
