The 49th annual Rolex 24 at Daytona took place the last weekend of January, and ColdTrackDays correspondent, Wes Duenkel, was lucky enough to be trackside for this historic event. Traveling from Goodlettsville, Tennessee to the Sunshine State, Duenkel spent the better part of three days shooting what was to be an epic test of endurance. Rob Krider shot this short documentary at this years 25 Hours of Thunderhill. Krider Racing, a team that drove its way to success in both the 24 Hours of LeMons and ChumpCar race events, graduated to National Auto Sport Association (NASA) racing and competed in the Western Endurance Racing Championship. The team applied their tried-and-true formula from racing beaters and went on to earn the 2010 E3 Championship title in the WERC series. Cameras followed the team to NASA’s headline event, the 25 Hours of Thunderhill.
