NEWS // McLAREN OUTSOURCING GT2/GT3 MP4-12C PRODUCTION

According to AutoWeek, McLaren will team up with independent racing garages to turn their MP4-12C road car into a race car. The report suggests that CRS, a British outfit that's seen success in both GT and open-wheel racing, will build some fifteen GT3-spec MP4-12Cs, as well as a batch of GT2-spec cars that could find their way to Le Mans by 2013.
