To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Espace and Renault's involvement in Formula One, the French automaker unveiled the Espace F1 in 1995. Powered by an 820hp Renault V10 sourced from the Williams Formula One car, the Espace F1 featured a J63 body reinforced with lightweight carbon-fiber and could run from zero to 124 mph in just six seconds. Equipped with a set of carbon-ceramic brakes, the Espace F1 could go from 168 mph back to 0 in under 1,969 ft. This version of the Espace was featured in the driving simulator, Gran Turismo 2. Is it sick that I want one?
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't want an F1 powered mini-van!
ReplyDeleteI remember this van being built in the late 90's. This would make driving to Costco and a around the parking lot more fun!
