Silverstone, Britain's infamous Formula One facility, has been under going massive improvements over the course of the off-season in hopes of making the outdated circuit one of Europe's premiere facilities. Dubbed the "Arena," the plan is to reconfigure the existing grand prix circuit, adding a handful of turns and bypassing the old Bridge complex in favor of a new infield section that lengthens the circuit by 2,500 feet.
