NEWS // STEFAN MUCKE PREPARES FOR FIA GT1 SEASON

The 28 year-old former DTM driver who moved into sportscar racing in 2007 commented "It trains the capacity to respond quickly and simply is a lot of fun."

This year the German will be driving an Aston Martin DBR9 for Team Young Driver AMR (Paderborn) and will be partnered by Christoffer Nygaard from Denmark.

"I'm really looking forward to the season and the new challenge ahead" said Mücke. "Now the series has received the status of a World Cup,it is now at the highest level. This is bound to be an exciting season with a total of 24 cars that are driven by professional drivers, and my goal is to be on the podium as much as possible."
