Italian chassis designer, Dallara, has just released this conceptual drawing of what may be the new IndyCar. Based on the 2012 rules set by the Indy Racing League, the new chassis is intended to be lighter, more efficent and have more downforce than the current chassis, i.e. less horsepower and better fuel economy.

Interesting design. It would definitely further distinguish the Indy Racing league from other open wheel series such as F1, GP2, A1, F3, etc.
