  2. That wheel base on the McLaren looks like it will help tiny bit with smaller radius corners, but the Ferrari's gonna have a bit better in the tighter corners.

  4. @pat_burks: I'm having a hard time understanding how one car will be better in tight corners, while the other car will also be better in tight corners. Care to clarify?

  5. Darryl - Wheel base affects direction changes. A longer wheel base creates a stable platform but makes direction changes harder. Short wheel base has the opposite effect. It has to do with how close physical parts of the car are to the CG. Polar moment of inertia and that sort of thing.
