Rosberg commented at Ab Dhabi “It's my last race with Williams, four or five years with the only team I have worked with and it's going to be quite strange to leave". He added “They have really supported my career, so it's a ‘thank you' for them.” He went on to say with regard to his decision “I would like to try to get into a car where there would be a very good chance of winning. “There is no reason they (Williams) can't be as good next year as this year and remain close to the top, but I am not sure they can win races.”
Rosberg's replacement is rumoured to be Brawn's Rubens Barrichello who has conducted talks with Williams for 2010.
