EYE CANDY // TOPLESS ITALIAN

For this weeks Eye Candy I decided to feature a personal favorite of mine, the Alfa Romeo Spider. Following news of Kyle Crawford's latest purchase (see below), my desire to own another roadster quickly became the 'need' to own another roadster. With the sun (finally) showing itself here in the Northwest, albeit briefly, I am reminded that nothing compares to top down Summer cruising, especially in something Italian! So with that said, enjoy the beautiful bit of Eye Candy featured above and be sure and take advantage of the hot days and warm nights while they last...

    I think everyone, at some point, wants a Spider. Thing is, once you find that you want one, you'll always want one. You might never actually own one, but each time you come across one in print, online, in person, you'll hear the Spiders of the world with for sale signs in them calling you.

    I *almost* bought a '72 back in '97. It was tan, black top and interior, had those super sweet glass bubbles over the headlights. The night before I called to make an offer, someone stole the headlights and slashed the top out of spite.

    Closest I ever got.
