With the 2009 ‘12 Hours of Sebring’ just around the corner (March 18-21) Aplina Genève has released a limited edition timepiece to mark the occasion. Not to be confused with the Bavarian auto tuner (example), Alpina is the official timekeeper for the 2009 ‘12 Hours of Sebring’ and has commemorated the occasion with the release of this. the Alpina Extreme ’12 Hours of Sebring’.
Featuring a black steel case measuring 48mm in diameter, illuminated hour and minute hands, a matte black dial with a bold red ‘12’ to commemorate the 12 grueling hours of the race, and a thick black rubber strap, the limited edition Alpina Extreme will be as unique as the race itself. In honor of the 57th running of the ‘12 Hours of Sebring,’ only 257 individually numbered pieces will be made available world wide. More info is available here // 01.05.2009
