Ferrari's 599XX, a track prepped version of their already potent 599 supercar, has just claimed the title of 'fastest ever production-derived sports car' at the famed Nürburgring. With Raffaele De Simone at the wheel, the Ferrari 599XX managed to lap the 20.832 km Nordschleife circuit in just 6:58.16, some 13.34 seconds faster than the Gumpert Apollo.
