With the drift season still a month away, an exclusive invitation only event was held at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington. Two new track layouts were tested, and a new format was used to allow the drivers as much run time as they could handle. Drivers were allowed three complete laps of the 3/8ths mile course per run, with two or three cars on track simultaneously.
