So last week, while Trulli waited to test the new Lotus T127 F1 car, he had the opportunity to drive a Lotus Evora Cup car around the Snetterton Circuit in the UK. He and race engineer, Gianluca Pisanello, spent two days working on suspension and engine calibrations, fine tuning the Evora Cup Car ahead of its racing debut.
Much like the Porsche Cup, Lotus’ Evora Cup is a spec racing series that will utilize their new mid-engined Evora sports car. Powered by a 400hp 4.0-liter V6 developed by Toyota, the Evora Cup car will also be eligible for GT4 class competition and could potentially race against Audi’s R8 LMS, as well as Porsche 911s in the European Le Mans Series.

Beautiful racecar! I very much prefer this version to the road going version. :)
